QUESTS, in conjunction with the Disciplines of Occupational Therapy and Radiation Therapy, Trinity College Dublin, are proud to host a 1-day interactive workshop on Qualitative Evidence Synthesis on Friday 30 November 2018 from 10:15am – 4:30pm.

The workshop will be run by national experts Dr Catherine Houghton (Co-chair of the QUESTS, and Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, NUI Galway), and Dr Jenny Mc Sharry (Assistant Director of the Health Behaviour Change Research Group, and Lecturer in the School of Psychology, NUI Galway).

Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to learn about, and practice using, qualitative evidence synthesis methods, including:

  1. Developing an appropriate qualitative synthesis question
  2. Searching for qualitative research
  3. Screening, data extraction and management
  4. Appraising qualitative research
  5. Selecting a qualitative synthesis methodology

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
