DAFNE project an RCT that was initiated to introduce and evaluate the effectiveness of the DAFNE (Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating) programme for people with type I diabetes in the Island of Ireland. It had an embedded qualitative longitudinal design, to explore participants’ engagement with DAFNE over time.
