QUESTS Co-Chair, Dr Catherine Houghton, attended the event and was co-author on a presentation by Niamh Walsh titled “Nurses experiences and perceptions of caring for people with intellectual disability who are ageing” (pictured). QUESTS Steering Group member, and HRB-TMRN Programme Manager, Dr Sandra Galvin, presented on the START Programme (Schools Teaching Awareness of Randomised Trials), while QUESTS Research Working Group member, Prof Dympna Casey, presented on the EU-funded MARIO Project.
At the conference, the IRNN launched a survey to find out more about what research nurses/midwives need for career development & support in the workplace. If you are a research nurse/midwife based in Ireland, and you haven’t yet received the survey, please email the IRNN at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Congratulations to all involved, particularly Hazel Smith and all at the IRNN, on a very successful event.
