Dr Nikki Rousseau will deliver a webinar, titled “Qualitative research about intervention development: The INDEX Study”, on Thursday 9th January 2020 from 12-1pm (GMT).
Qualitative research often features in intervention development; including to understand the context to the proposed intervention, the needs and preferences of the potential users and to obtain feedback on prototype interventions. However, whereas qualitative research is often conducted alongside trials to understand and optimise trial processes and illuminate outcomes, there is a paucity of qualitative research about the process of intervention development. INDEX was a mixed-methods study which produced guidance for researchers on how to develop complex interventions to improve health or health care outcomes. For more information click HERE
